What to do if there is no air coming out of my SmartVent positive+ diffusers?

  If no air is coming out of your SmartVent Fan diffusers, first ensure that the touch screen controller is powered on. Then, perform a manual test by turning off HEAT TRANSFER and TEMPERING HEATER modes, and ensure RECYCLE mode is off by adjusting your Recycle Temperatures. Set VENTILATION mode to MANUAL, cycle through the fan speeds, and check every diffuser. If air is still not coming out of at least one diffuser during the test, report the results to your installer. Remember to return your system back to its original settings after the test.

  If condensation is forming on your windows with the SmartVent Fan, first check that VENTILATION mode is set to AUTO. If HEAT TRANSFER is installed, make sure the scheduler is used to allow periods dedicated to ventilating your home. Also, test if air is coming out of the diffusers. If not, follow the steps for when there is no air coming out of the diffusers. To increase the velocity of air coming into the room, reduce the diffuser opening to 5-10mm.

  If your house feels colder after installing the SmartVent Fan, check your set temperature value in the VENTILATION settings. Note that the ventilation system brings in air from either the roof cavity or outside to improve indoor air quality, and this air can sometimes be cooler than your desired indoor temperature, which is normal.

  SmartVent systems are designed to provide ventilation to the home. Being able to cool the home down to a comfortable temperature in extreme temperatures is not guaranteed.

  When the 'Filter change required' message appears on your SmartVent Fan, replace the filter and reset the filter by changing Advanced Setting 019 to 10 and pressing SELECT to confirm.

Why is the scheduler not switching at the right time on my SmartVent positive+?

  If the scheduler on your SmartVent Fan is not switching at the right time, keep in mind that the system has up to a 5 minute delay between switching states. Also, check that your system clock time is correct, as it needs to be updated manually when daylight saving begins and ends.
