Recovery Core
We recommend that the exchanger core is cleaned once a year by completing
the following steps:
1. Turn your Synergy2 system OFF at the mains.
2. Remove the front panel (black
plastic cover). Unscrew the
four screws on the front of the
unit. Carefully remove the front
half of the unit and put to one
side.
3. Carefully remove the
exchanger core.
4. Create a mild detergent
solution (1 x teaspoon of
washing up liquid to a 9L
bucket of warm water).
Soak the heat exchanger core in this liquid for one minute.
5. Rinse thoroughly using clean water until the water runs clear and there is no
solution residue left on the inner plates of the exchanger core. Allow to
fully dry before proceeding.
6. Reassemble the unit, taking care not to damage the rubber seals.
7. Turn your Synergy system back ON.
