PRELIMINARY OPERATIONS
GENERAL INFORMATION
PRESENTATION
• monthly storing of consumption over
12 month (January - December)
period, (FIFO memory accessed via

For inputs 1 - 4 only the device also
stores the following:
• pulses for configurable periods of
8, 10, 15, 20 or 30 minutes in order
to recreate a 10-minute energy
demand profile over 8 days per
input (FIFO memory accessed via
JBUS/MODBUS
®
).
The Countis system consists of several
products designed for active energy
metering. The COUNTIS Ci version is
a pulse concentrator fitted with
7 ON/OFF inputs and a RS485 serial
link with JBUS/MODBUS
®
protocol. It
is designed to centralise pulses for
either a PC or PLC.
It is fully configurable and performs
the following functions:
• direct display of consumption in kWh
or pulses, and direct status display.

Consumption and status display

sively), or for scrolling through
configuration parameters
