COMMUNICATION
The Countis Ci system communicates via a JBUS/MODBUS
®
protocol invol-
ving a master/slave dialogue. Two dialogues are possible:
the master communicates with a slave (Countis Ci) and waits for its response,
the master communicates with all the slaves (Countis Ci) without waiting for
their response.
The communication mode is the RTU mode (Remote Terminal Unit) with
hexadecimal characters consisting of 8 bits.
NB:
The integration time must not exceed
3 silences (the time taken to transmit
a character) for the message to be
processed.
By selecting slave address 0, the
same message is transmitted to all
the Countis devices present on the
network (only for functions 6 and 16).
