4.5 Staff training
As the operator you are obligated to train your personnel and instruct them in
the established legal and accident prevention regulations. Ensure that your
staff have understood and observe these instructions. This includes:
information regarding intended use and foreseeable misuse
safety instructions
operating instructions
cleaning and maintenance instructions
– Please make the instructions and additional information from the manu-
facturer available to the staff at their workplace.
– Regularly check your staff's safety consciousness of the risks, taking into
account your operating instructions.
– Please ensure that the cleaning intervals are complied with, in particular
cleaning after every use.
– Please ensure that your staff provide your customers with appropriate
advice, in particular regarding tanning times, possible risks and the oper-
ation of the device.
4.6 Guidelines
This product is in conformity with the performance standards for sunlamp
products under 21 CFR 1040.20, FDA and listed with ETL and CAN/CSA 22.2
No. 224.
4.7 Installation location
4.7.1 Ventilation

Danger of overheating by obstruction of the air routing.
– Observe the ventilation information to avoid serious
system malfunctions.
You can obtain data regarding the air supply and ventilation from the custom-
er service department (see page 2).
4.7.2 Setup location
CAUTION!
Salty air! Contaminated air!
Device damage due to corrosion of the housing and electri-
cal components.
– Do not install the device at swimming pools.
– Do not operate the device in locations with aggressive
environmental conditions (e.g. air containing chlorine).
