Basic settings
Owner information
If Owner information is displayed on the Today screen, it is easier for someone to return
your phone to you if it is lost.
To enter owner information

Tap > Settings > Personal > Owner Information.

On the Identification tab, enter your personal information.
To display owner information when the phone is turned on

Tap > Settings > Personal > Owner Information.

Tap the Identification tab and enter the information needed.

Tap the Notes tab and add additional text you want to be displayed, for example,
reward if found.

Tap OK.
Time and date
To set the time and date
1
Tap > Settings > Clock & Alarms.

Tap the Time tab.
To set the time and date for a different location
1
Tap
> Settings > Clock & Alarms.

Tap the Time tab.

Select the correct time zone and change the time or date.
Regional settings
The style in which numbers, currency, dates, and times are displayed is specified in regional
settings.
To change regional settings

Tap
> Settings > System > Regional Settings.

On the Region tab, select your region from the list.

To customize settings further, tap the appropriate tabs and select the desired
options.
Changing region does not change the Operating System language of your phone.
The region you select determines which options will be available on the other tabs.
Personalizing
Personalizing the Today Screen
The Today screen shows your upcoming appointments, active tasks, and information
about incoming messages. You can customize what to display on the Today screen.
