Multimedia
You can use Media in SlideView to browse and manage media files such as photos, music
and videos. Media files in your My Documents folder in File Explorer in the phone, and
media files on the memory card, are listed in Media. Media also contains the FM radio,
and gives you access to the PlayNow™ service and games.
To open Media

Press to open SlideView.

Tap Media.
Pictures
You can use Pictures in Media to view your photos and pictures. The pictures can be
captured with the phone camera, received from other devices, or copied to your phone
from your computer.
The pictures are sorted into two categories:
•
– Camera album – Photos taken by the camera. Photo files are stored in the phone
memory in File Explorer: \My Device\My Documents\My Pictures\Camera
\100XPRIA, or on the memory card in File Explorer: \Storage Card\DCIM.
•
– Pictures – Picture files are stored in File Explorer: \My Device\My Documents\My
Pictures.
To view a picture

Press to open SlideView.

Tap Media > Pictures.

Tap a category to view its content.

Tap a picture to open it.
Picture viewer toolbar
The toolbar is available when a photo is opened. You can tap the photo to view the toolbar.
You can tap again to hide it.
Icon
Function
Zoom in. Use the stylus to pan the photo
Rotate. Select and then touch and hold the photo and rotate it. When you release the photo, it snaps
to the nearest 90 degree angle
Go back to the previous menu
Go to the previous photo
Delete the photo
Start a slideshow of the photos in the current folder
Go to the next photo
Music
To play music

to open SlideView.

Tap Media > Music.

Browse by track
, artist , album , or playlist by tapping the icons.

Tap a track to play it.
