To activate Internet Sharing and set up a PAN

Turn on Bluetooth™ functionality in your phone and set it to visible.

Initiate a Bluetooth partnership from your phone. For more information, see To create
a Bluetooth™ partnershipon page 59.

Tap > Internet Sharing.

In the PC Connection list, select Bluetooth PAN.

In the Network Connection list, select the name of the connection that your phone
uses to connect to the Internet.

Tap Connect.

Computer: Set up a Bluetooth Personal Area Network (PAN) connection to your
phone.
For Windows Vista:

Click Start > Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing
Center.

Click Manage network and then, under Personal Area Network, double-click
Bluetooth Network Connection.

In the Bluetooth Personal Area Network Devices dialog box, select your phone
and click Connect.
For Windows XP SP2:
1
Click Start > Settings > Control Panel > Network Connections.

Find and click Bluetooth Network Connection in the list.

Under Network Tasks, click View Bluetooth network devices.

In the Bluetooth Personal Area Network Devices dialog box, select your phone
and click Connect.

Phone: On the Internet Sharing screen, check Status to verify that the computer
has been successfully connected to the Internet using your phone as a Bluetooth
modem.
To end the Internet connection

Tap Disconnect on the Internet sharing screen.
