Problem Cause/countermeasure
The MD deck does not respond
as a whole.
n Check the cables are connected properly (page
7).
n Check that “Serial Setup” has been done
properly (page 16).
n Disconnect cables of the connector and then
reconnect them.
Displayed name of MD or CD
does not match the disc’s data.
n Click the Reload button.
n Restart the MD Editor 2.
Recording from a CD in the CD-
ROM drive to an MD in the MD
deck cannot be done.
n Check that the audio connecting cord is
correctly connected (page 8).
n Check that the settings for the devices in the
“Volume Control” window are correct.
