Connecting a CD player to the MD deck
Use a monaural (2P) mini-plug cord (either supplied with your CD player or
purchased optionally) to connect a Sony CD player equipped with CONTROL A1
(or CONTROL A1) jacks directly to the MD deck. This allows you to control the CD
player as well as the MD deck from your computer. When controlling the MD deck
from the computer, make sure that only one CD player is connected and that the CD
player’s command mode is set to “1.”
The audio cord connection (either digital or analog) should also be made between the
CD player and MD deck. For details, refer to the operating instructions of the MD
deck.
