7-4-1. Adjustment Overview
When VPR-118 board was replaced or repaired, perform the video system adjustment. In the video system adjustment,
the composite video signal output amplitude is adjusted.
Note
• The video system adjust in the 59.94 Hz mode first, and then adjust in the 50 Hz mode.
• In the video system adjustment, be sure to adjust without the extension board.
• Before starting the measurement, supply power to this unit and the equipment in use for at least 30 minutes to
warm them up.
The adjustments are performed using the menu of the maintenance menu.
As for detail of each item in the maintenance menu, refer to “4. Maintenance Mode”.
Tools/Fixtures
• Analog composite waveform/vector monitor
Tektronix 1750A (For 59.94 Hz mode) or Tektronix 1751A (For 50 Hz mode)
• 75 Ω terminator
Adjustments
Perform the following adjustments.

If the specification is not satisfied, perform the adjustment and save the result.

7-4-2. Adjustment Procedure
Preparations
Before starting adjustments, it is recommended to write down the customer’s settings and change the settings to the
original settings after adjustments have been completed.
1. Power off and on the unit.
2. Set CHARA SEL on the HOME page of the function menu to ON.
