Carefully unpack the various components of the Artisan
TM
Color Reference System. Use the list and the illustrations to make
sure that you have received all of the contents. If something is missing, contact your authorized Sony dealer.
GDM-C520 Display Box
You will connect this display to your computer using the Artisan
TM
Signal Cable
in the Accessory Kit.
You will use this power cord to connect your display to a power source.
This cable is not used for the hookup of the calibration system, as you will replace
it with the Artisan
TM
Signal Cable found in the Accessory Kit; however, it may be
useful if you choose to connect the display without intending to use the Artisan
TM
Color Reference System.
This manual is for the GDM-C520 display only. When using the Artisan
TM
Color
Reference System, make sure to use the Artisan
TM
Signal Cable provided in the
Accessory Kit.
GDM-CA20 Accessory Kit
You will mount the display hood on your display in order to reduce ambient light
around the display screen.
You will use this cable to connect your display to your computer. This cable is
required for the color calibration.
This sensor will measure the output of your display screen and transmit
information to your Artisan
TM
Software.
You will install the software on this CD onto your computer in order to begin
using the Artisan
TM
Color Reference System.
You can use this guide to set up the Artisan
TM
Color Reference System.
