      If there is no picture on your Sony Projector, verify that all cable connections are correct. Ensure your projector is compatible with DDC2B (Digital Data Channel 2B). If it is, connect the projector to the computer, turn on the projector, and then start the computer. Also, select the correct input source using the INPUT key and press the PIC MUTING key to release picture muting, if activated.

      If the computer cannot be controlled with the presentation tool (VPL-CX76 only) and the USB cable is being used or the Air Shot is not being used, use the Remote Commander to operate the device connected via the USB cable. The presentation tool is designed to be used with the Air Shot.

      If the Sony Projector displays “High temp.! Probably use in high altitude. Switch to high altitude mode on? Yes V No v”, and you are using it at an altitude of 1,500 m or higher, set “High Altitude Mode” on the INSTALL SETTING menu to “On.” If this message appears at normal altitudes, check for obstructions blocking the ventilation holes.
