3D. Storage and Installation Site Condition
Storage
- Store the burner in a clean, dry and well-ventilated place with no vibration and temperature change.
- Humidity: Keep below 75% - Ambient temperature: 10℃ ~ 40℃ (50℉ ~ 104℉)
- A site with air-conditioning system, please operate it to prevent the condensation.
- If the temperature of the burner is lower than or similar to the room temperature, condensation occurs inside or outside the burner. To
prevent this, it is recommended to keep the burner temperature at least 5℃ higher than the ambient temperature by operating the space
heater at all times.
- Please keep the package sealed until installation.
- If you do not operate the burner for more than 3 months after the installation, prepare a waterproof cover and cover the entire burner in
a place where humidity is high and moisture and foreign substances are concerned, and seal it after putting desiccants or VCI inside. Change
them regularly.
- Every 3 months, measure and monitor the insulation resistance using an insulation resistance meter to manage the fan motor suitable for
the rated voltage and the insulation condition.
- For burners stored for a long-term period, make sure to check the insulation resistance of the fan motor before operation.
- Re-inject grease into the fan motor's rolling bearings (ball bearings or rollers) every 6 months while rotating with the grease drain hole
open. If the power is not connected, perform hand turning at least 10 turns once a month. Also, when storing for more than 2 years,
disassemble the bearing and re-lubricate after cleaning/inspection.
- If the burner is stopped for a long time, perform hand turning periodically to avoid damage to the fan motor bearing and shaft lubrication
and shaft deflection. Perform at least 2 rotations once a month. While burner stopped, make sure that the shaft position is 180 degrees
opposite before of hand turning Including storage, installation, and shutdown periods.
- We are not responsible for defects caused by storage problems that do not comply with the contents described in this instruction manual.
Installation site conditions
- Install the burner at a site in an indoor with an altitude of 100m or less above sea level and an ambient temperature between -20℃ and
40℃. Please be sure to consult with the person in charge for outdoor installation or if the burner is installed in conditions where the altitude
and ambient temperature are out of mentioned condition.
- Install the burner in a place with good ventilation, little dust and moisture, and easy for inspection. Avoid places where moisture, oil,
flammable substances are present, or external vibrations are severe.
- Do not use water for cleaning in the area where the burner is installed, and keep it from water leaking or falling onto the burner or nearby
areas. It may cause malfunction, fire or explosion due to short circuit.
- For explosion-proof and outdoor areas with flammable, explosive gas, dust, moisture, apply a burner that meets explosion-proof standard
or else non-explosion-proof burners can cause serious damage from explosions and fires
- Be sure to install the burner with securing space for combustion air inlet and fan motor cooling inlet at least 30cm or more from walls or
other obstacles.
