9. INSTALLATION AND START-UP
9.1 Installation
The installation of the device is a critical step to ensure a proper operation. When the product is recieved, verify that:
The packaging is intact and has no signs of impacts, falls and isn’t wet.
All the items in the accompanying list are present
The device does not show any kind of damage
Ensure that the vehicle in which you want to install the device, is manufactured in compliance with EN 1789.
DO NOT DISMANTLE PARTS OR COMPONENTS OF THE DEVICE EXCEPT THOSE EXPRESSLY INDICATED IN THIS MANUAL.
If tampering and/or any kind of operation other than those described in this user manual will be found, the warranty would be
invalidated.
9.2 Ambulance compartment check
Before the installation inside the ambulance, is fundamental to check that the ambulance is capable to store the stretcher support , allowing
its movements in all directions.
Ensure that the positioning of the stretcher support is done according to the following table:
Sideways movement (if available in the specific model)
Distances from the base frame
The stretcher support should not interfere with the correct closure of the ambulance door and with the access to other ambulance
equipment.
Extraction from neutral position (if available in the specific model)
