6 Preparing the Car
To start the procedure, you need to perform some preliminary operations:
• Drive the car for a few minutes so as to bring the gearbox oil at its operating temperature
• Raise the car using the appropriate lift
• Remove any protective casing
• Look for the identification plate, by means of which it is possible to identify the type of transmission you are
going to treat.

• Finally, locate on the transmission the delivery and return of the lubricant to the heat exchanger, the cap
related to oil level check (if present) and the lubricant’s drain (if present).
