10.5 Inserting additive for transmission longevity
With this operation you will insert into the circuit the additive for optimal oil consumption. Please bear in mind that
this operation is similar to the insertion operation of washing fluid described earlier during the manual procedure.
Remember that it is important to mix the fluid with some transmission fluid in the additive bottle.
10.6 Resetting the circuit
When the colour of the oil is satisfactory, disconnect the ATF connecting pipes and restore the car’s own
connections.
10.7 Level check
To ensure that the transmission works properly, it is important to check the oil level before putting the car
on the road.
Once restored the car’s own connections, turn on the car to carry out the oil level check.
Some examples of the oil level check procedure are shown in the following Images:
If you need to add oil, use the appropriate function “Oil level in the Utilities menu.
NOTE: if the transmission does not have the oil level check light, determine the correct level as
indicated by the manufacturer.
Finally, it is recommended to perform a road test and check the oil level in the car again.
