3.3 Mounting the positioner onto the actuator
The EP500 can be attached onto any type of valve and actuator conforming to NAMUR standards.
The unit can be attached in the traditional centered position (Figures 2 and 3) in line with the
actuator central axis or side mounted (Figures 4 and 5) to enable the operator to view frontally
the stem of the valve.
Step 1
Attach the mounting bracket on one of the two positions shown below with the two M8 x 14
screws and washers.
