6. Long-term storage
Long-term storage
1. Before storage
1) When storing for a long time, please keep the machine in the posture shown in the figure above
to protect the cylinder rod and prevent the cylinder rod from rusting.
2) Wash and clean all parts of the machine and store them indoors. If you must leave it outdoors,
choose a flat location where the machine is unlikely to suffer from floods or other disasters and cover the
machine.
3) Refueling, lubricating and changing engine oil
4) Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery and cover, or remove the battery from the
machine for storage.
5) If the temperature will drop to 0°C or below, add antifreeze.
2. During storage
1) During storage, the machine must be operated once a month to maintain the oil film of the
lubricated part. Charge the battery at the same time.
2) If rust prevention operations must be performed indoors, please open windows and entrances for
better ventilation to prevent gas poisoning.
3. After storage
Perform the following operations before using the machine after long-term storage:
1) Add oil, lubricate and change engine oil.
2) Remove the cover on the battery (if the battery has been removed, install the battery on the
machine). Check the electrolyte level and specific gravity, and then connect the battery cable from the
positive pole.
3) Unscrew the fuel tank, hydraulic oil tank and the drain plug at the bottom of the engine, and drain
the mixed water.
4) Check carefully before starting operation and warm-up operation.
