Throttle
Throttle Closed
Throttle Open
The throttle controls the engine speed (RPM) and is
operated by rotating the hand grip on the right side
of the handlebar. To increase engine speed, the
grip is rotated rearward toward the rider;
to reduce engine (and vehicle) speed rotate the grip
forward away from the rider. The throttle is spring-
loaded and will, unless improperly adjusted, return
to the closed (engine idle) position when released.
