Front Suspension Inspection
Loose, worn, or damaged suspension components
may adversely affect the handing and stability of
your motorcycle. If any suspension components ap-
pear worn or damaged, see your dealer for further
inspection. Your dealer is qualied to determine
whether or not replacement parts or repairs are
needed.
1. Check fork operation. Pull the front brake lever in
to lock the brake. Then push up and down
on the fork legs several times. The suspension
should function smoothly. There should be no
oil leakage.
2. Check to be sure that the fork mounting bolts
and handlebar riser mounting nuts are tight. If
any front suspension components appear worn
or damaged, see your dealer for further
inspection.
