LUBRICATION:
For
easy operation
and long life,
lubricate
all
moving
parts
of
your
door with light
oil several
times
year-
ly, including
roller
shafts. Do
not lubricate
tracks or surfaces
of nylon rollers.
DOOR
BALANCE
TEST:
Check door
balance at3/4
open,
mid-point
and
314 closed
positions.
Refer
to "Door Balance
Test" in
this manual.
OPEN AND
CLOSED
SETTINGS: Make
sure
the open
and closed limits
are
properly
adjusted.
Refer to manual.
EMERGENCY
RELEASE:
Close
galt;ge
door and pull
the
red
emergency
release knob
to ensure
the door
can be released
from
the
opener.
HARDWARE:
Inspect
the chain/cable
tension
and retighten
all nuts and
bolts.
SAFETY:
The ENTRAPMENT
TEST
is the
single most
important
step
in the installation
of
your
garage
door
opener.
The
door must
reverse
when it
comes in
contact
with a l-l/2,,
high
solid object placed
on the
garage
floor.
If
door does not
reverse
refer
to the
Closed Position
and Entrapment
Test
Instructions
in this
manual
or contact
a door
system
profes-
sional.
Failure
to
comply
with this
requirement
may
result in seri-
ous
or fatal
injury
to
anyone trapped
by a closing
garage
door.
