SINGLE
LIGHT SOCKET
MODELS
Install
one 100 watt light
bulb into
the single light
socket.
See Fig. 33.
DUAL LIGHT
SOGKET
MODELS
Install two 100
watt light
bulbs into the
dual lamp
socket.
Install lamphouse
using
the
knurled
nut to
secure it.
See
Fig.34.
NOTE: The maximum
total wattage must not
be
more than
200
watts. It is suggested
that rough service
bulbs be
used.
AUTOMATIG
LIGHT OPERATION
ALL MODELS:
The lights will
come on when
the door
opens
or closes, and stay
onfor
4-l/2
minutes,
then automati-
cally turn
off.
SPECIAL LIGHT FEATURE
"SAFE-T-SIGNAL''
Whenever any of
the opener's safety features
are activated,
the lights on the
opener will flash until
the next
push
of either
the transmitter or
pushbutton.
NOTE:
If
opener is
supplied
with a four-function
wall
console,
the
pushbuttons
shown
below
WILL NOT be
used. Please
refer to
those instructions
now
(packaged
separately),
then return
to this
page.
A. Strip
about l/4"
of insulation
off each end
of
pushbutton
wire. Connect
pushbutton
wires
to the two
screws on rear
of
pushbutton
as shown in Figure
35.
B. Locate
pushbutton
in
a convenient location
at least
5 feet
above the
floor and
attach with the
two wood
screws
provided.

Run
wire from pushbutton
to
power
unit. Use
staples
pro-
vided to
secure
wire. DO
NOT USE A
STAPLE
GUN.

wires. This
will cause
a short. Do

place
wire
close to the
120 volt
power
wires.
Sepa-
rate as far
as
possible.
NOTE: If
gnage
has
more than
one
opener,
keep
pushbutton
wiring separate
as far as
possible.
Strip

off other
end of wire
and
connect
to the
two screw
terminals
labeled "PUSHBUT-
TON"
at rear
of the
power
unit.
