4. The forward vertical-edge of the horizontal-tail-unit-flange must be flush
with the leading-edge of the vertical-stabilizer. Only then the connection is
properly secured.
5. Check correct installation of the horizontal-tail-unit by pushing the leading-
edge upwards.
4.3.4 Fuselage-Fairings
1. Install the upper-fairing.
2. Install side-fairings. They must overlap the upper-fairing at the rear.
Note: Before installing the fairings, perform checks according to
section 4.5 („Daily Inspection“).
