PRESENTATION AND INSTALLATION GUIDE SN RANGE
PRESENTATION OF "SN" MODELS
Fiber Ethernet connectors
These Ethernet ports are available by default on SN900 appliances and numbered 13 and 14, as well as on
SN910 and numbered 9 and 10. On SN910, SN2000, SN3000 and SN6000 models, Ethernet fiber connectors
can be added by inserting extension modules. In both cases it is necessary to install a transceiver. This
transceiver is in SFP format for 1Gbps connections or SFP+ for 1Gbps/10Gbps connections.
For more information, refer to the section Connecting to the network in the chapter INSTALLATION
PRECAUTIONS.

The LEDs indicate the following information:
- SN900 and SN910 models equipped with SFP transceivers (in Ethernet fiber ports available by
default): a green LED lights up when the link is established and blinks according to the volume of
the traffic.
- SN910, SN2000 and SN3000 models equipped with a 1Gbps extension module and SFP
transceivers: a green LED lights up when the link is established and blinks according to the
