11 City 7 Adjust the tooth belt
Model City 7 has a device on the steering tube to adjust the tension of the tooth belt. The belt
should always be under slight tension to avoid the belt springing over.
After loosen the clamp-nut turn the sleeve, until the tension is right. Tighten the clamp nut
again.
Press the belt between thumb and forefinger to control the belt tension. The belt should not
drop more then 1-2 cm, otherwise adjust the belt.
Safety tip: check the tension before every ride to avoid the belt springing over.
12 Ultra 21plus + disconnectable backpedal brake
The Ultra 21 Plus has 24 gears with 2 shift steps
By the internal gear hub (3 gears) and the rear derailleur system (8 gears)
the 24 gears are achieved.
By changing the chain to the big chain ring you
get another 24 gears with bigger ratio= 48 gears.
The small chain ring is used on hilly terrain, the
big one on flat terrain.
Safety tip: change the front chain rings only
at walking pace to avoid accidents.
Attention: Tighten the nut
with a torque of 30 Nm, if you
tighten it too much, there is a
risk of injury!
