The SERFAS Energy Probe
The SERFAS Energy Probe is used to deliver the high-frequency energy to the
treatment site within the patient. Probe appearance and functions will vary
depending on the probe used.
The features of the probe are listed in Figure 2 below.

1. Probe Tip: point of delivery of RF energy used for Cut and Coagulation
2. Probe Shaft: Insulated
3. Yellow CUT Button: Used for activation of Cut function
4. Blue COAG Button: Used for activation of Coag function
5. Cut Level Control Button: Used to adjust the Cut level
6. Suction Adapter: Used to connect probe to vacuum source (for SERFAS
Energy Suction Probes only)
7. Cable Connector: Connects to front panel of SERFAS Energy Generator
