CHOOSE ANTENNA CONFIGURATION
The 950R receiver has four antenna configurations:
Single Peak
Uses one horizontal antenna to detect signal. Response is
highest at strongest signal.
Twin Peak
Uses two horizontal antenna to detect signal. Response is
highest at strongest signal.
Null
Uses a vertical antenna to detect signal. Search width is narrower
than single peak. Response is lowest when receiver is over the
line.
Left/Right
Uses a combination of one horizontal antenna and one vertical
antenna to detect signal. Displays arrows to guide the operator to
the line.
IMPORTANT: It is best to verify left/right location using twin peak
antenna.
