4.4 SHUTDOWN PROCEDURE
1. Close the service valve.
2. Turn / Place the OFF/ON/START switch in
the “OFF” position. The following message
will be displayed in the LCD Graphic Display:
3. The unit will continue to run, though it will not
produce usable air. At the end of the cool
down, the engine will be shut down. The con-
troller will stay powered up, and a new mes-
sage will be displayed:
The controller will continue to monitor the
system pressures and will not power down
until all pressures drop below 10 PSI (0.7
bar). This final process may take 3 to 5 min-
utes. Operator interaction is not necessary
during this time as the controller will auto-
matically disconnect power to all systems so
that the battery is not inadvertently drained
after shutdown. However, the engine ECM
continues to draw minimal power even when
the controls are powered down. If the
machine is not intended to be operated
within the course of a week, the battery dis-
connect should be disengaged or a charger
should be installed to maintain the batteries..

WARNING
The E-Stop (emergency stop switch) should be
used only in the event of an emergency. Refrain
from using the E-Stop to shut the machine down
during normal operations. All usage of the E-
Stop is logged in permanent memory for use by
service technicians when troubleshooting a
machine. Non-emergency use of E-Stop is con-
sidered equipment abuse and could void the
manufacturer’s warranty.
