Service Requirements

Coffee Block Filter Test
• Make sure maximum pressure is within or near the red zone.
• Check for leaks while under pressure.
Steam Block Test
• Fit special knobs on steam valve.
• Close the steam valve and activate the steam switch for 1 minute.
• Check for leaking while under pressure.
Check coiled brass piping
• Check the distance between coiled brass piping and plastic housing. Make sure
it’s not touching. There should be at least 2-3 mm gap.
Wire Routing
• Ensure the 2 sets of thermistor wires are not wedged between top and bottom
screw bosses.
• Make sure wires are not touching hot parts.
• Make sure wires are not wedged on sharp edges.
Tightness of Brass Nut
• Check the tightness of brass nut connected to steam pump outlet. Specified
torque is 5.0 – 5.5 NM.
Brass Insert
• Check if dumping nozzle is modified i.e. unit has brass insert.
Point 0.4 Filter Test
• Make sure pressure pointer is at 12o’clock (tolerance +/- 2hrs).
• Check the quantity of water coming out from the nozzle during 0.4 test.
