Why is there poor or no steam from my Sunbeam Coffee Maker?
    • F
      fnguyenAug 1, 2025
Several issues could cause this. The water tank might be empty, so refill it. It may not be sitting correctly, so push it in, ensuring the gauge aligns with the front panel. The steam nozzle might be blocked; use a pin to unblock it or remove and clean it. A hose, brass piping, or thermoblock could be blocked, so unblock or replace the affected part. Other potential causes include a damaged steam micro switch or a damaged steam pump, requiring replacement or reconnection to the PCB, or the PCB might be unable to energize the steam pump, necessitating PCB replacement.

What to do if my Sunbeam EM6910 Coffee Maker is leaking from the handle?
    • U
      uhardyAug 7, 2025
If your coffee maker is leaking from the handle, it could be due to several reasons. The handle itself might be worn out, or the filter could be damaged, requiring replacement of the damaged part. A broken or damaged seal could also be the cause, in which case you should replace the group head seal. Additionally, loose thermoblock screws could be the issue; tighten them after removing the top casting. Lastly, a damaged handle retainer (collar) might be the culprit, necessitating its replacement.

Why is the power light flashing red on my Sunbeam Coffee Maker?
    • A
      Andrea TranAug 13, 2025
A flashing red power light can indicate a few problems. The thermistor might be disconnected from the PCB, so reconnect it. The thermoblock may not have reached the specified temperature within the allotted time, which suggests a software issue requiring PCB replacement. Alternatively, the thermistor might be unable to read the correct temperature, meaning it needs to be replaced.

Why is my Sunbeam Coffee Maker producing wet steam?
    • F
      fitzgeraldkellyAug 19, 2025
Wet steam could be due to the steam pump pumping too much water into the thermoblock; consider replacing the steam pump with one that has a slower pump rate. Another possibility is that the steam thermoblock cannot heat up to the specified temperature, in which case you should replace the steam thermoblock.

What to do if water is coming out from the group head of my Sunbeam EM6910 Coffee Maker (without handle)?
    • K
      Kevin CarpenterAug 26, 2025
If water is coming out from the group head without the handle, it could be due to an incorrect tension of the anti-drip spring; change the spring with the correct tension. It might also be caused by a missing or damaged silicon valve, which needs to be replaced.
