󳡒 Adjusting the auxiliary presser foot
Loosen the pressure-adjusting screw and the bracket-fastening screw .
Adjust the bracket-fastening screw so that the auxiliary presser foot rise about 10.5 mm from the needle plate
top when the pressure lifter is raised.
(After adjustment, be sure to fasten the bracket-fastening screw first, and then adjust the pressure-adjusting screw.)
Affter the adjustment of the height of the auxiliary presser foot, adjust the upper feed presser foot.
󳡓 Adjusting the upper feed presser foot
Loosen up and down crank clamp screw when the pressure lifter is down.
Move the needle bar close to its highest position.
Adjust the height of the upper feed presser foot to the sewing materials.
When the height of the upper feed presser foot is determined, be sure to fasten the crank clamp screw and
check the adjusting timing explained in 14), on page 24.
