2.3 Memory Support and Installation
Note: Check the Supermicro website for recommended memory modules.
Important: Exercise extreme care when installing or removing DIMM modules to pre-
vent any possible damage.
Memory Support
The A2SDV-8C-12C+-16C-TLN5F motherboard supports up to 256GB of ECC RDIMM and
64GB of Non-EC/ECC UDIMM DDR4 memory with speeds of up to 2400MHz in four memory
slots. Populating these DIMM slots with memory modules of the same type and size will result
in interleaved memory, which will improve memory performance.
DIMM Module Population Conguration
For optimal memory performance, follow the table below when populating memory.
