Performance Tuning Mode (Available when both XMP
memory and an Extreme Edition CPU are installed)
This item allows the user to choose the Intel Extreme Memory Prole (XMP) Speci-
cation which enables DDR3 memory to operate beyond the standard JEDEC SPD
specication. Select XMP for 1600 MHz XMP memory operation for better system
performance.
CPU Conguration
The following CPU Conguration submenu items will display:
Non Turbo Ratio Override
This feature allows the user to set the non-turbo override ratio. The default
setting is 20.
Package Current Lock
Select Enabled to lock the current CPU package values. The options are Enabled
and Disabled.
IA Core Current Max (1/8 Amp)
This feature allows the user to set the maximum electric current value for the
Intel CPU cores. The default setting is 384.
Enhanced Intel SpeedStep Technology
Select Enabled to enable Enhanced Intel SpeedStep Technology (EIST) support
to allow the system to automatically adjust processor voltage and core frequency
to enhance power efciency. The options are Disabled and Enabled.
Turbo Mode
Select Enabled to use Turbo Mode to boost system performance. The options
are Disabled and Enabled.
Package TDP Lock Enable (Available when "Turbo Mode" is set to
Enabled)
Select Enabled to lock the Thermal Design Power (TDP) value for the processor.
The options are Disabled and Enabled.
Power Limit 1 Value (Watt) (Available when "Turbo Mode" is set to
Enabled)
Use this feature to set the power limit for CPU1. Use the number keys on your
keyboard to enter the value. The default setting is 35.
