SAS Cables
This drawing shows connectors for SAS cabling. For primary and secondary, two
connectors are marked In, and two connectors are marked In/Out.
Connect two mini-SAS HD cables (SFF-8644) from the head server node host bus
adapter (HBA) card to the two Primary receptacles marked In. If using the E2C
model (CSE-847E2C-R1K23JBOD) for redundancy, connect two more mini-SAS
HD cables to the two Secondary receptacles also marked In. Cables are described
in Appendix B.
To cascade out, connect cables from the two receptacles marked In/Out to the next
JBOD storage enclosure. (see Figure 4-4 and 4-5)
