Air Shrouds
Air shrouds concentrate airfl ow to maximize fan effi ciency. The SC809 chassis
requires two identical air shrouds. They do not require screws to install.
Installing the Air Shrouds
1. Confi rm that all six fans are in place and working properly. (See the end of
this chapter for details on the system fans).
2. Place the fi rst air shroud into the chassis. The air shroud sits behind the
system fans. Each air shroud covers three fans.
3. Install the second air shroud in the same manner as the fi rst.
