Motherboard Connections
LEDs on the motherboard are also described here. A serverboard layout indicating component
locations may be found in Appendix B.
Please review the Safety Precautions in Chapter 3 before installing or removing components.
4.1 Power Connections
The power connections on the X11DPL-i must be connected to the power supply. The wiring
is included with the power supply.
• 24-pin Primary ATX Power (JPWR3)
• 8-pin Processor Power (JPWR1/2)
Main ATX Power Connector
must also connect the 8-pin (JPWR1/2) processor power connectors to your power supply.
Required Connection
Important: To provide adequate power to the motherboard, connect the 24-pin and the 8-pin
power connectors to the power supply. Failure to do so may void the manufacturer's warranty
on your power supply and motherboard.
