Chapter 4: Motherboard Connections
M.2 Slot
The X11DPL-i motherboard has one M.2 slot that is supported by the PCH. M.2 was formerly
Next Generation Form Factor (NGFF) and are used to replace mini PCI-E. M.2 supports a

motherboard supports PCI-E 3.0 x4 (32 Gb/s) SSD cards in the 2280 form factor.

I-SATA 3.0 and S-SATA 3.0 Ports
The X11DPL-i has eight I-SATA 3.0 ports (I-SATA0~7) and two S-SATA 3.0 ports (S-SATA0/1)
on the motherboard. These SATA ports are supported by the Intel C621 chipset. All these
SATA ports provide serial-link signal connections, which are faster than the connections of
Parallel ATA.
Micro SD Card
There is one Micro SD memory card slot located at JSDCARD1 on the motherboard.
Unit Identier Switch/UID LED Indicator
          
back panel. When you press the UID switch, the UID LED indicator will be turned on. Press

system unit that may be in need of service.
Note: UID can also be triggered via IPMI on the motherboard. For more information on IPMI,
