Chocolate cake
Ingredients:
160g butter
2 tablespoons cocoa
1/2 cup caster sugar
2 tablespoons milk
2 eggs
1 cup white flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoons vanilla essence
½ a cup of chocolate chips
Instructions:
Step one: Use the stainless steel mixing wand to cream butter and sugar together in a
medium sized bowl.
Step two: Slowly add one egg at a time to the mix, stir softly with a fork.
Step three: Add half a cup of flour to the mix, followed by the vanilla essence and milk.
Step four: Sift the rest of the flour, cocoa and baking powder into the mix.
Step five: Add the chocolate chips to the mix.
Step six: mix ingredients with the whisk until all the ingredients have combined.
Step seven: Grease a 30cm cake tin, pour cake mix into it.
Step eight: Preheat oven to 175°C for. Bake for 25 minutes. Allow cake to cool down for
30 minutes and ice with chocolate icing.
