Hummus
Ingredients:
1 x 420g tin of chick peas (drain but save liquid)
1 tbsp Tahini
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp minced garlic
2 tbsp olive oil approx
1 sundried tomato
lemon juice to taste
Instructions:
Step one: Place the chick peas, tahini, salt; minced garlic, sundried tomato, and a
squeeze of lemon juice into the chopper bowl (if you prefer plain hummus, don’t use
sundried tomato).
Step two: Press down Swiss mix blitz button named ‘Blitz’ until all the ingredients are
smooth.
This dish is best served as a dip and in wraps; it goes well with beer and wine. Hummus
is great for when friends and family come over; serve on a dip tray with breads, beside a
pesto and guacamole.
