1.3. Depalletising methods
1) Hoist or lift using the 4 M6 lifting rings supplied (straps or hooks not supplied and under the responsibility of the
installer). See chapter 2 for safety regulations.
2) Use of the 4 handles supplied (to be fixed to the ceiling of the machine with the screws supplied).
1.3.1. Depalletising with a hoist or an elevator
The machine is lifted by a strap. (not provided / machine’s
weight = 73kg)
1.3.1.1 Commissioning
The SYLVAC-SCAN S25(T) can be lifted with the dedicated
loops and a strap device.
Ensure that general and local accident prevention regula-
tions are complied with.
Sylvac declines all responsibility in case of accident or ma-
chine damage due to a wrong utilisation of lifting device and
accessories.
1.3.2. Depalletising by handles (principle requiring 2 people) :
This procedure is also valid as a setting method. A bridge crane or an
elevator is not mandatory for this method or any other means of lifting.
