Flow rate to activate the water heater : 0.5 gallons per minute at the
default set temperature
 Flow rate to keep the water heater running : 0.4 gallon per minute
 Hot Water temperatures over 125F (52°C) can cause severe burns instantly or
death from scalding.
 The outlet hot water temperature of the water heater is factory
set at 122°F (50°C).
 Feel the water temperature before bathing or showering.
NORMAL OPERATION
GENERAL

Open a hot water tap.

Mix cold water with the hot to get
the correct temperature water.
3.
Close the hot water tap.
*If a remote controller installed, turn the remote controller ON by pressing the power ON/OFF button
on the remote controller and then set the temperature by pressing the HOT/COLD buttons before
opening a hot water tap. The temperature is displayed when the remote controller is turned ON.
TEMPERATURE SETTINGS
-Without remote controller-
Depending on the model, there are 4 or 8 temperatures that you can select from by changing the
dipswitch settings on the computer board without the remote controller. See the table below.

 The temperature has been preset at the factory to 122°F (50°C).
 If temperatures other than the ones listed above are required, the remote controller can
provide several more temperature options. Refer to p. 9 for a list of available temperatures on
the remote controller.
 This water heater is an on-demand, tankless water heater designed to efficiently supply
endless hot water without reference to temperature settings.
