Model C835 & C845 Ignition Detection Control - Domestic
The gas grills contain an Ignition Detection
Control (IDC) which is responsible for generating a
high voltage spark. The IDC Board has three
functions:
S Opens the gas solenoid
S Creates a spark
S Provides a lockout safety feature
Lockout
If the flame is not detected, the ignition probe will not
receive flame sense current and the gas solenoid
will close. The unit will lock out and “Blower Failure”
will be displayed.
