11.6 Receiving encrypted channels
> Insert a CI / CI+ module into the slot.
> Insert the smart card into the CI / CI+ module card slot. Make sure that the
gold-coloured chip on the smart card is in the correct position, depending on
the version of the module.
If you now select an encrypted channel, the device will automatically check the CI/CI
+ slot and will display the channel in decoded form, provided a valid smart card or an
appropriate CI/CI+ module with a valid smart card for this channel is inserted.
With encrypted channels, programmes that are not suitable for children can
be pre-blocked with a parental control code. To unblock the specific program
the smart card PIN code stored on the smart card must be entered.
> To release the programme use the numeric keypad to enter the 4-digit smart
card PIN code.
11.7 Volume control
You have the option of regulating the volume of the DIGIPLUS UHD S2. This facilitates
operation, as it means you can access all the major functions on a single remote
control, and will not have to resort to using a separate remote control for the TV.
> Adjust the volume up or down on your DIGIPLUS UHD S2 using the Volume +
rocker and the Volume - rocker.
During volume adjustment, the currently set volume is displayed at the upper
edge of the screen and in the display.
Aer switching on, the sound is reproduced at the volume set under Menu >
Seings > Sound seings > Switch-on volume.
11.7.1 Mute function
> By pressing the Mute on/o buon the sound is switched on or o by
pressing this buon.
Throughout the time that the volume is switched to mute, the symbol
appears at the upper right of the screen.
