Replacing the cable
- loosen lock nut (D) and unscrew adjuster (E);
- extract the entire cable from the equipment unit;
- insert the new cable from the adjuster side (ensuring
that it follows the same route as the original cable, as
shown in the illustration);
- tighten lock nut (D) and screw down adjuster (E);
- insert the rubber gaiter (A) and the attachment (C), then
tighten the screws (B);
- lower the rubber gaiter (A).
It is possible to take up some of the slack in the cable using
adjuster (E), after loosening lock nut (D).
