er from t h e
boar d wit h α
vacuum-ty pe d esol d ering tool

he Regulator b oard
along wit h th e p lastic-
cased transistors .
REPL AC EMEN T :
1 . Co
nnect t he lea d s to t h e bac k
of t he circuit board .
2 . Apply α
th in coat of
silicone grease to t h e bac k
(mo unting
surface) of each p lastic
p ower transistor case .
3 . P lace t he Regulator boar
d on t h e c h assis .
Re p lace t h e
screws w h ic h hold t

oar
d to t h e c h assis ; do
not tig hten
t h ese screws at t h is
time .
4 . C hec k t h at t
he plastic-cased power
transistors are
aligned with th
eir mounting h oles an d th at
t h e insulating
was h ers
are in place between t h e
transistor case an d t h e rear
h eat sin k .
5 . Secure t
h e transistors to t he h eatsi
nk wit h th e
mou n ting h ar d
ware . Do not over-tig hten t
he nuts ; recom-
mend ed torq
ue is four to six inc h - p ounds .
