2 . Sna p t he connector cover (w h ite plastic) off t h e si d e
of t he plug-in interface connector w h ic h needs re p air .
3 . U nsol d er an d remove t he damaged contact .
4 . Install

available
w hen removing one of t h ese integrate d circuits, pull slowly
an d evenly on both en d s of t h e d evice . Try to avoid having
one en d of t he integrate d circuit disengage from t he
sock et
before t he oth er, as t h e pins may be damage d .
To replace one
of
the power transistors
mo
unted
on
t h e
heat radiator on t
he rear
of t
he power unit, first remove t h e
mounting screws . T h en, unsol d er an d remove t h e d efective
transistor . Wh en replacing t he transistor, be sure to install
t h e insulating was h er b etween t h e transistor an d t h e heat
ra d iator (use silicone grease as d escri b ed p reviously) .
Tighten t h e mounting screw j ust tig h t enoug h to h ol d t h e
transistor in p lace . T hen solder t h e re p lacement transistor
to t h e Regulator b oard .
