Equipment required for this application:
• 2470 High Voltage SourceMeter Instrument
• Two insulated banana cables; you can use the set that is provided with the 2470, the Keithley
Instruments Model 8608 High-Performance Clip Lead Set
• One 10 kΩ resistor to test
Device connections
Turn the power to the instrument off before attaching connections to the 2470.
Connect the 2470 to the resistor in a 2-wire (local sense) configuration. In this configuration, the
device is connected between the FORCE HI and FORCE LO terminals.
The physical connections to the front panel are shown in the following figure.
