To reset all zoom factors to their defaults, press ZOOM
➞ Reset (main) ➞
Reset All Factors
(side).
To reset only “live” waveform zoom factors to their defaults, press ZOOM
➞
Reset
(main) ➞ Reset Live Factors (side).
Press ZOOM
➞ Mode (main) ➞ Off (side) to return to normal oscilloscope
(non-zoom) operation.
To Zoom a Waveform (TDS 510A Only)
To use Zoom, turn zoom on and magnify the waveforms using the vertical and
horizontal scale knobs:
1. Press ZOOM
➞ ON (side). The ZOOM front-panel button should light up.
2. Choose which waveforms to zoom by repeatedly pressing Horizontal Lock
(side): None, Live, or All.
NOTE. Although zoom must be turned on to control which waveforms zoom
affects, the setting for Horizontal Lock affects which waveforms the horizontal
control positions whether zoom is on or off.
