Description
Bidirectional radio device for the connection of the safety devices in the automatic openings sec-
tor.
The connection is carried out between a Master device connected to the control unit for motor and
a Slave device positioned on the door connected to the 8,2KOhm resistive barrier safety edge
type or an infra-red low-consumption type.
In order to function in the security category 2, it is necessary that the contral unit examines the
Master befare every motion, control units with AUTOTEST .
Every Master device can manage one Slave.
In the same installation set there can be more systems which can operate without interference.
The action ray is 10 rnt,
The answer time during the motion is not higher than 100ms.
The Slave peripheral devices are powered by 3,6V. battery.
INSTALLATION - Positioning elements
For the best performance, it is important to respect the following indications for the installation:
Check that the distance between the control
unit and the TCSP is not toa large (3-5m)

Closing of the door
We recommend to install at the base of the door, on the right and on the left of the safety edge two
rigid bumpers. In case of bumpy f1oors, ifyou do not install rigid bumpers, or do not use the Fe con-
tact, when the safety edge comes into contact with the f1oor, the door will invert the movement.

1- Slave device
This device is powered by battery and activated by the Master unit when required. It sends to the Master unit
the following informations:
Survival signal is used to verify periodically if the unit is connected via radio correctly, the flat battery signal
is also sent during the transmission.
Flat battery signal is sent at every transmission with the other informations.
Motion control signal, the Master sends a signal to the Slave in order to activate it, when the signal is sent
there is an answer to point out that the safety is functioning and to proceed with the motion. During the mo-
tion the Master expects to receive signals of correct functioning from the Slave.
Alarm signal, the Slave device sends an alarm signal if the barrier safety edge has intervened.
The siave can control two different types of barrier safety edges (selected in the installation phase):
- Infra-red barrier safety edge,
- 8,2KOhm resistive barrier safety edge.

Procedure tor the memorizing of the TCSP radio safety edge into the Master
1- Push the P1 push-button of the Master device, the L1 and L2 LEDs will flash.
2- Push the P1 push-button on the TCSP Slave device that has to be memorized. If the TCSP has been
memorized the LED L2 wil! have a fixed light.
3- To exit from this operation push down the P1 push-button of the Master.
4- If the operation has been correctly done, the LED L2, wil! flash to indicate the correct radio aiignment.
In order to check if a TCSP Slave device is correctly aligned, push and hold down its P1 push-button:
if the safety edge is correctly aligned, the LED of the Slave will have a fixed light, otherwise it flashes.
Led functions of the Master unit:
LED L1- memorization
LED L2- memorization and indication of the Slave device TCSP condition
LED L3-
The flashing light of the L2 LED indicates the correct radio alignment of the Slave device connected to the
terminals 4-5-6 or 3-6. A steady light (L1 or L2) indicates that the safety edge is activated or that the survival
radio signal has not been arrived .
